Each year brings fresh opportunities and challenges that push us to learn and grow. 2024 has been particularly remarkable for us at Virgo. We welcomed valuable new clients and launched a groundbreaking product that significantly enhances web and mobile applications. AI has become an essential part of our daily operations, both internally and across our projects. This year has reinforced that with determination and expertise, we can accomplish great things. However, what I value most is being part of a team that is dedicated, enthusiastic, and supportive. It fills me with pride to build this community together.

This year, we entered a whole new era: Gábor is leading the front, while Bence and I are focusing on business development. After 25 years, this is no small change, but I couldn’t be prouder—of him, the team, and the entire process. Honestly, it went smoother than a Monday morning without coffee. If I had to highlight one thing from 2024, it wouldn’t be sales success, but rather the fact that with this leadership transition, Virgo is stepping up to a whole new level!

I completely agree with Ákos—taking a step back and, in doing so, elevating Virgo to a new level was a huge move, not just for the company but for us personally as well. We had been planning this leadership transition for years, and now that Gábor has taken the helm, everything has fallen into place.
Of course, I had my doubts… Would it work without me? Could I truly let go? But this year has proven that not only does it work, but it’s thriving. And Gábor isn’t just excelling as a leader—he’s also mastered the art of coming up with the perfect excuse for why we didn’t catch the biggest fish. And honestly? I respect that.

This year, AI solutions were everywhere, and we were no exception. At the same time, we made huge strides in developing VERITA, and while there’s still a long way to go, I feel we’re heading in a great direction. This is a project we can—and already do—take real pride in.
The market brought plenty of challenges for us this year. It wasn’t a year of growth, yet we’re closing it with a sense of satisfaction. Compared to our plans, we had very few internal projects, and I see this as a key area where we can improve next year. If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that flexibility and creativity are what truly set us apart in the market.

Last year, we focused on developing our organizational culture, placing special emphasis on strengthening the feedback culture and building our community. I am very proud of the significant progress we made in these areas. We started to support open and continuous communication and brought these topics into focus through different talks and workshops. Our community programs also helped strengthen our organizational cohesion.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the dedication and active participation of all Virgo colleagues.
